Hi All,

Posting this and Aron's reply:
How do I migrate data to fields that are picklists in MSCRM. In Mapping I see a Destination Field of Type Picklist as well as a Destination Field of Type Virtual. I am assuming I need a Smartlookup for the Picklist field which uses MSCRMLOOKUP to lookup the index value in MSCRM using the value from Salesforce. Should I be using a Scripted Value for this?

Reply:
Use the GetMCRMPicklistValue function and supply an integer value for the picklist value you want to use..
Like this:
ScriptedField = GetMCRMPicklistValue (“account”, “accounttype”, “@@YourVariable@@”)

Hi Aaron,

I am having trouble with a lookup on a custom option set which looks fairly standard but never finds a result:

ScriptedField=GetMCRMPicklistValue ("account", "new_financialyearend", "@@ORG:Financial_Year_End__c@@")

The options are abbreviated months (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.). Am I missing something obvious or can I troubleshoot this in any way? Other GetMCRMPicklistValue lookups on the same job are working fine.

Thanks

Connel

Very hard to say without taking a look but I can offer one suggestion.. Try creating a temporary job which points the Origin at your MSCRM environment, and use the Preview window to read out existing records in Accounts. Take a look at the values in that field to make sure they're being stored in the manner you're expecting.
