Am doing an import from Goldmine to SalesForce.

I have already imported all my Accounts into SalesForce and have saved the GoldMine ID to a a custom field called GM_Id__c.

Now I'm trying to import some linked data and I've tried using the following Scripted Field to pull the corresponding SalesForce Id.

ScriptedField= SmartLookup("Account","Id", "GM_Id__c =" & Replace("@@ORG:ACCOUNTNO@@","",""))

However I get the following error:

"Result: SmartLookup Error: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: MALFORMED_QUERY:
Account WHERE GM_Id__c =A5072951567&1A%.<Pet
^
ERROR at Row:1:Column:53

at StarfishCommon.SalesforcePartner.SforceService.query(String queryString)
at StarfishCommon.clsVBScriptSupport.SmartLookup(String l_table, String l_field, String l_filter, Boolean l_cache)"

I have tried to do a replace of the % sign as well by doing:

ScriptedField= SmartLookup("Account","Id", "GM_Id__c =" & Replace(Replace("@@ORG:ACCOUNTNO@@","",""),"%","%%"))

but I still get the same error.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Anosh

Anosh,

I think you're simply missing your single quotes to go around the search term.. try this:

ScriptedField= SmartLookup("Account","Id", "GM_Id__c ='" & Replace("@@ORG:ACCOUNTNO@@","","") & "'")
