Am importing data from ACT to SalesForce and I'm running into an odd issue using the UPSERT feature.
Job 1 of my map imports Accounts into SalesForce.
Job 2 of my map imports Contacts into SalesForce.
For the Accounts job its letting me select UPSERT as an option for the Map. However for the Contacts job, the only option is INSERT/UPDATE, I don't get the UPSERT option.
Since my source for both these jobs is actually the same TBL_CONTACT table in ACT, I'm guessing this is due to something with SalesForce.com? :unsure:
Can you assist with explaining why UPSERT shows up on one job and not another?
This is actually the same thing (it should be UPDATE/INSERT not INSERT/UPDATE, right?). When you're using Salesforce as your Destination it should always say "Upsert" instead as a more familiar term in the Salesforce world. Most likely this is because one is in Bulk mode and the other isn't .. We'll fix this in a future release, but rest assured these are one & the same.
Thats the odd thing, both my jobs are not using Bulk Mode and yet the options are different.
